What We Do...
Little Scholars is a preschool program located in Springfield, Ohio and has earned the community's respect by successfully meeting the needs of families in the city school district since 2006.  Little Scholars is not a typical preschool program.  It is a free preschool program that involves parents and helps them to prepare their child for kindergarten.

How Children Benefit...
Children enrolled in the Little Scholars Preschool Program receive an abundance of developmental stimuli that will help them to be ready for school; these include social, academic, emotional, and physical.   Children learn during group time but also have individual learning needs met through one-on-one time with a qualified teacher and a personalized lesson plan to meet their individual needs.  Children become more confident, emotionally healthy, and socially adept.  They find new, creative, and successful ways to learn and explore.  They learn to communicate their needs clearly and learn to understand the needs of others.

How Parents Benefit...
Parents are required to attend Little Scholars Preschool Program with their child and learn to become involved in their child's education.  Parents gain techniques that will aid them in enhancing and supporting their child's learning success.  Parents also attend an adult-level class where they become prepared for the demands that will be placed on their family as their child enters school.  There they will have the opportunity to discuss important self-improvement issues such as discipline, budgeting, nutrition, and stress release.
